The Property- Tented Safari Camp at Victoria Water Falls – Zambezi National Park
A remote safari island ideal for exclusive use getaway
“Tsowa” means ‘new beginnings’, which is what you will find on this pristine island in the middle of the mighty Zambezi River near Victoria Falls. A surreal place, the whispers of this majestic river are broken only by occasional calls of the African fish eagle. In this luxury tented camp fringed by a beautiful forest, a soft path leads to a cluster of century old baobabs. This is our safari island Tsowa, sensitively situated within the Zambezi National Park.
This modernized camp comprises six luxurious tents that are distinctly positioned in the cool shaded areas of the forest to ensure privacy and comfort, allowing you to take full advantage of the river views. Each of the camps are fitted with a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries.
As a guest at Tsowa Safari Island, you may experience extraordinary sightings of wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, and various antelopes.
Activities in and around Tsowa Safari Island include bushwalks, sundowner river cruises, canoeing and much more.
Safari: We offer guided bush walks in the Zambezi National Park as well as safari drives. Herds of elephant, buffalo, sable and more can be seen on the sundowner cruise as they come down to drink at the river.
Romantic: Situated on a pristine island in the middle of the Zambezi River, we offer private tented accommodation, with lovely outdoor showers. Magical island walks and romantic sundowner cruises on Zambezi add to the flavour of romance.
