The Sabi Sand Reserve is the birthplace of sustainable wildlife in Southern Africa, and is the oldest private reserve in South Africa. It was founded in 1934, and became a formal association in 1948. Sabi Sand Reserve shares a 50km unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, this immense (65000 hectare) and diverse track of land is home of The Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) and much much more.
